I love this. I've been using your resources to connect with my youth recently and I find that this is such a useful tool. I do agree that we need to teach our young people whats wrong with everything she does and what she sings about. I hear them singing her songs from time to time and I cringe, but it is so true that we must also love her with the love of the Father. Many of our young people have been abused or neglected. They've been made to feel like outcasts and sometimes they grow older being bitter, lonely and hurt. I know because that was my reality. But if we show them that God loves them no matter what they have gone through, then they will begin to seek the true Father for healing. Thank you so much for reminding us of that.

We need to expose the devastation of the music and what she stands for though with our parents, kids, and others who might be affected by her music. and Pray that she would know and accept the true love of the heavenly Father. Thanks for the reminder we should do this with all pop stars.

Great post. It's easy to see these types of interviews and be offended and miss the simple fact that regardless of how egregious the sin, God loves us and desires for us to repent and serve Him.

I used to be neck deep in that industry as a DJ and serve as living proof that God can turn your life around and use your gifts for his glory. Let's pray for Nicki and all of the other artists in that scene.

Thanks Todd for this well written review. It gave me a clearer picture of an important piece of pop culture that my students will be seeing. What I appreciate about a review like this is, while I don't know that I want to see this film, I can still ask some intelligent questions about it because of what you have written.
